concert concert concert!!

ahhhhhhhh.
it's over. poof. ting ting ting ting.
gosh.
Anyway. very nice job on everyone, I must say. Although, not PERFECT, but we're getting there, ladies and gents.
Hai. I meant what i said, when i mentioned an "ethereal" world of sound and movement. (if you read my foreword) I'm sure im not alone when i say everything i felt, alas, cannot be summed up in the two words i carefully choose.
sheer bliss. I'm just so proud of everyone. We all worked so hard, even when the times were rough and the road looked liked it was going anyway but straight ahead. I can say, I do miss our practices together.
Concert night was. Well i wouldn't forget it even if i wanted to. In fact, i would want to relive it again and again and again.

There are just too many people i want to thank, most of whom, unfortunately have never even heard of this blog, but wth.
To all the teachers, Ms B, Ms T a certain MCM, and my comm :) My SAXES.
Proud and completely humbled by the fact that too many people have contributed to this feeling.
The hours spent on the telephone, outside and inside my home. The sleepless nights. The continuous nervous texting in the middle of the night. To all the support messages i get from you guys. Juniors. :) The much needed coffee- all through the maaaaaany days of practice. A simple Thank you is all i have to give. I really do appreciate it. To all my friends, for being there at concert. Peace to the love homies.

I know that nothing i can do will ever be fit enough to repay the hours, blood, sweat, tears, saliva and money (yeah, saliva) that has been put into making this event the awesome one it was.

I've had people come up to me, saying how AMAZING the concert was.
AMAZING. wow. Well we haven't heard that in a while. I am still soooo sorry about having to turn all those ex-band members down. Thank you for your contributions, never the less. I only wish i could have given you all more than this.
Cheers to the newfound friendships. Thank you for all the hugs :) You guys know, it's not about being good, it's about being better.
Someone came up to me and said that we were bringing the legacy of the band back, i said we only try and hope. She replied with a 'Hope?! No! You're doing it right now!' Band dudes. I hope you're reading this. And i know you're feeling just as nice and warm as I am.
I also hope all of you know who we owe all of this too. Remember, this is our job and a trying and challenging one it is. A pat on the back for sticking it out this far.
Special message to my saxes. You guys are fantastic and i don't actually know how we sounded, but i can say with great faith that we tried our very best. Know that I am blessed with a section i know i can count on. Ily :)

To the other Ms Tan. We had fun yeah? Thanks for the present you know? pictures! faiti faiti.
i love you too :)
Amalina. It smells soooooo good, aaaaaaah. I love you lah. Betul betul sincere this time.

We're coming back again next year aren't we? Let's see what the future has in store for all of us. Continue to fight for the music.
Never stop being the gladiators we are.
